Carrying the world’s largest California Bear Flag in Admission Day, Veterans Day, Fourth of July and other parades, the Native Sons have become a long-time crowd favorite. Our history of participating in parades dates to our founding in 1875, when General Winn called together a band of California natives to parade in San Francisco on the Fouth of July.
With 4th of July on the calendar horizon make sure and plan ahead and step up and step out with the Native Son’s and walk with us in a community parade. Not sure where to go to participate;
- Check with your local parlor, what parade are they participating in? (if they don’t have one planed, get a group together and start a new parlor event.
- Go to our Native Son’s calendar and pick a parade from the ones listed, Native Son’s are always welcome at other parlors and their events.
- Post up on Native Son’s Facebook page that your looking for a parade to participate with other brothers.
